While birth is a natural process, sometimes baby needs a little assistance to enter the world safely.

Interventions such as ventouse (suction), forceps, caesarean birth, though often quite necessary can prove traumatic for mum and baby, sometimes leading to restrictions in baby’s delicate system which may result in the above difficulties.

Long difficult labours or equally very fast deliveries can also be problematic to baby’s system.

Using very gentle release techniques can help your baby find ease from discomfort, allowing their own nervous system the freedom to work to maximum efficiency, ensuring a healthy development and happy baby.

A session will last no more than 40 mins, and is done with baby fully clothed, generally a session will be calm and relaxed. Baby may be treated while in the parents arms and during feeding if necessary.

Working with couples from the beginning of their journey to having a family allows for better outcome and a more stress-free experience. Anything from trauma memory to hormone imbalance can have an effect on fertility issues in both men and women so using some very specific techniques to identify the cause and support the body to restore balance may greatly increase the possibility of natural conception and completion of pregnancy to full term.

During pregnancy releasing pelvic restrictions and misalignments in mum as well as identifying held trauma surrounding birth process, can maximise potential for natural unassisted delivery.
